How the Badgers ran and passed: Game 12 at Minnesota

Time for this week's look at the directions and success of Wisconsin's run game, as well as the targets thrown to by Badgers quarterbacks.

OK, so, yeah, Wisconsin ran the ball just a little bit against Minnesota. It really worked out in the first half (not so much in the second half, but, hey, the Badgers still won by 10 points). Perhaps surprisingly, despite a shakeup on the right side of the offensive line, this is the direction the Badgers had their most success running the ball.

On the passing side, no surprise that Alex Erickson was the most targeted. However, and this might be a surprise, the percentage of targets he gets from Joel Stave is right around the same as last year -- and actually a little lower (31.7 percent in 2014, 31.5 percent in 2015).
