IRVING, Texas – The way the Cowboys have been playing lately, saying they look like a high school team is an insult to high school football teams.

Maybe that's why someone is selling a hoodie promoting Aledo, Texas' powerhouse football program that takes a not-so-subtle jab at owner Jerry Jones and the Cowboys.

The sweatshirt reads: "Dear Jerry, We heard you need a winner. We will be there this weekend. Hang tight! Love, Aledo"

It's punctuated with an Aledo Bearcats logo, and is available at merchhaus.com/shop/dear-jerry .

The hoodie, in Aledo's orange and black colors, is in preparation for Aledo's upcoming game against Brenham in the Class 4A Division II state championship game, which will be played at noon Saturday at the Cowboys' home AT&T Stadium.

The kids from Aledo aren't just bragging. They are 15-0 and have won state titles in three of the previous four seasons. Jones' Cowboys are 7-7 and have finished 8-8 the last two seasons.

Don't be surprised if Jones, known more for his marketing savvy than his football smarts, figures out a way to get a cut of the hoodie's sales.
