LOS ANGELES (AP) HBO has promoted Peter Nelson to run its sports department.
Ken Hershman announced in October that he was stepping down as president of HBO Sports. The network said Tuesday that Nelson's title will be executive vice president of HBO Sports.
Nelson joined HBO Sports in 2011 and has been vice president of programming since 2013.
