Halladay goes to zoo with editor of Zoo With Roy blog
Roy Halladay's on-field success is well known to baseball fans.
The right-handed pitcher, who retired after last season, posted a 203-105 record with a career 3.38 ERA. He also won the Cy Young award in 2003 and 2010.
Based on a very cool thing he did Friday morning, Halladay seems like just as big a winner off the field, too.
In 2010, a Phillies fan started a blog called Zoo With Roy.
The banner atop the popular site says simply, "I want to go to the zoo with Roy Halladay."
Well, as the editor of the blog wrote on Friday, "After more than four years, 1,800+ [blog] posts and countless silly indulgences surrendered to in the name of 'being ZWR' ... I'm incredibly proud to say that at approximiately 10:00 a.m. this morning, I went to the zoo with Roy Halladay!"
And he did. And the website banner was amended to read, "I went to! the zoo with Roy Halladay."

Not sure...I think I went to the zoo but still a bit delirious. RT @zoowithroy: Do anything cool this morning? #DocChat

Even better in person than he is online. RT @mikeb927: @Phillies #DocChat is @zoowithroy as cool in person as he is on twitter?

Yes, dreams really do come true.
