As expected, Red Wings goaltender Jonas Gustavsson is reporting to Grand Rapids for a conditioning stint and defenseman Brian Lashoff will join him after clearing waivers Saturday.

Gustavsson, 30, hasn't played since dislocating a shoulder on Nov. 5 in an overtime loss to the New York Rangers. He has a 1-1-1 record this year, with a 2.30 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage. His victory was a shutout. He was scheduled to start in goal Saturday night when the Griffins play host to the Milwaukee Admirals in an American Hockey League game.

Lashoff, 24, played in just 11 games this season for Detroit, contributing two assists with a plus-4 rating and two penalty minutes
