Greg Jennings To Have Groin Surgery

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 6:54 p.m. ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings will undergo surgery on his torn groin Tuesday, Oct. 30. He did not give a timetable on his return, but head coach Mike McCarthy has said the injury is not season-ending.  In fact, Jennings says he'll be in the locker room the day after the surgery and describes the injury as an "abdominal tear". FANTASY IMPLICATIONS:  Jennings has fairly friendly schedule remaining, but just how much he will get to play is uncertain. The Packers have little need to rush him back with the way their offense has clicked of late. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Jennings will be able to return this year, and without having more information, count on him missing at least three to four more weeks. via Mike VandermauseRead More From Cosby Sweaters
