Gophers' P.J. Fleck offers senior kicker scholarship via t-shirt cannon

P.J. Fleck is putting his new t-shirt cannon to good use.

The University of Minnesota football coach handed his new toy off to a Gophers fan named Kyle in a video posted to Twitter on Wednesday, who fired a special t-shirt at kicker Justin Juenemann during a team meeting.

A scholarship offer was printed on the shirt, prompting an explosion of cheers from Juenemann's teammates.

The fan -- who the Star Tribune later identified as Kyle Tanner, a patient at the hospital -- had previously identified Juenemann as a player who had made frequent trips to the facility.

A fifth-year senior from Phillipsburg, Kansas, Juenemann has never appeared in a game for the Gophers.
