UPDATE (Friday, 3:30 a.m. ET): CBSLA.com is reporting that before the fire department eventually gave the all-clear, fans waiting to re-enter admitted thinking of the recent shooting massacre in nearby San Bernardino, Calif., as they evacuated the building.

Law enforcement would only tell the outlet that the cause for the alarm going off was "an accident."

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opened Thursday, and FOX Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer couldn't wait to see it.

However, there was a little hiccup.

CBSLA.com reported the Los Angeles-area theatre — at The Grove in the popular Fairfax District — was evacuated when the fire alarm went off.

No fire was reported. Law enforcement said it appeared someone accidently pulled the fire alarm, TMZ reported.
