Gallardo allows 2 earned runs, Brewers shut out by Athletics

Yovani Gallardo allowed two runs and three hits in three innings, including a two-run homer, in the first inning as the Milwaukee Brewers fell 2-0 to the Oakland Athletics in a spring training game Friday.

Gallardo struck out three and allowed two walks.

Ryan Braun, Jake Gatewood, Orlando Arcia and Keon Broxton had the Brewers' only hits of the afternoon for the Brewers.

Oakland prospect A.J. Puk gave up three hits in three innings and extended his scoreless streak to eight innings in three appearances.
