Ranking (Previous) School (Record)

1. (2) Mater Dei (3-0): (vs. Upland, 7p, Prep Zone/FOX Sports GO)

Another statement win for the Monarchs, blanking a solid La Mirada team. That's two straight shutouts for the Monarchs defense and five more touchdown throws for talented sophomore quarterback J.T. Daniels.

2. (3) Corona Centennial (2-1) (vs. Notre Dame, 7p, Prep Zone/FOX Sports GO)

The Huskies knocked Orange Lutheran out of the Top 20 with a dominant 42-14 win. Junior quarterback Tanner McKee had another big game with 313 yards and four touchdowns.

3. (1) St. John Bosco (2-1)

The Braves led Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman, the nation's top ranked team, at halftime but the Gaels dominated the second half to roll to a 38-20 win. The Braves have talent and plenty of building blocks to still have a great season.

4. (4) Mission Viejo (3-0) (vs. Long Beach Poly, 7:30p, Prime Ticket/FOX Sports GO)

The Diablos opening season win over Santa Margarita looks a lot more impressive after the way the Eagles have played the last two weeks.

5. (5) Vista Murrieta (3-0)

Quarterback Karson Greeley gets a little better every game and Javelin Guidry is good for at least one big play a game. A tough test against a good JSerra team awaits this weekend.

6. (6) Rancho Cucamonga (3-0)

A very efficient performance by junior quarterback Nick Acosta, who threw two touchdowns and ran in another. More importantly, he has yet to throw an interception this season.

7. (7) Long Beach Poly (1-1) (at Mission Viejo, 7:30p, Prime Ticket/FOX Sports GO)

The Jackrabbits had a bye last weekend and have a huge matchup with No. 4 ranked Mission Viejo this weekend on Prime Ticket.

8. (8) Oaks Christian (2-1)

The Lions struggled a bit against a game Paraclete squad but held on for a 21-14 win. Oaks has another tough one this weekend when Alemany comes to town.

9. (9) Chaminade (2-1)

Don't think too many teams want to play Chaminade right now and junior running back T.J. Pledger is really starting to roll.

10. (10) Calabasas (3-0)

The Coyotes high powered offense put up 51 points on West Adams and shouldn't be tested until they see Newbury Park in Week 8 of the season.

The Next 10:

11. (11) San Clemente (2-1)

12. (17) Cathedral (3-0)

13. (18) St. Bonaventure (2-1)

14. (14) Murrieta Valley (2-1)

15. (NR) Santa Margarita (2-1)

16. (NR) Edison (3-0)

17. (NR) Bishop Amat (2-1)

18. (15) JSerra (2-1)

19. (20) Servite (1-2)

20. (12) La Mirada (1-2)
