FOX Sports Southwest spring football coverage

FOX Sports Southwest kicks off its Spring Football coverage this week with a live telecast of Oklahoma's Spring Game on Saturday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m. CT from Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. A one-hour OU SOONER SPORTS GAMEDAY pregame show at 1:00 p.m. CT precedes the game.

It's the first of two spring games set to be televised. Texas Tech's Spring Game on Saturday, April 16 at noon CT from Jones AT&T Stadium also will be televised live.

Both games will be shown on FOX Sports Southwest, FOX Sports Oklahoma and FOX Sports New Orleans, which combined reach over 10 million cable and satellite television homes in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.

The two spring games also will be televised nationally on FOX College Sports Central.

Chad McKee (play-by-play), former Sooner Dusty Dvoracek (analyst) and Jessica Coody (sideline reporter) will call the action on Oklahoma's spring game.

Calling Texas Tech's spring game will be John Harris (play-by-play) Chris Level (analyst) and Robert Giovannetti (sideline reporter).

The spring games highlight FOX Sports Southwest's annual Spring Football series that returns for its 15th season and features 2016 season preview shows for Big 12 and SEC schools in the Southwest region, including Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

The shows are produced by the universities as part of FOX Sports Southwest's local programming agreements with the respective schools.

Baylor: Monday, May 2, 10:00 p.m.; Wednesday, May 4, 11:00 p.m. (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas markets); Saturday, May 7, noon; Thursday, May 12, 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 7:00 p.m. (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas markets), Friday, May 27, 10:30 p.m.
