FOX Sports Southwest honored with six Telly Awards

FOX Sports Southwest received six prestigious Telly Awards in the 34th annual international competition recognizing excellence in television, video production and commercials worldwide announced earlier this month.
The regional sports network was awarded two Silver Tellys, the highest honor, and four Bronze Tellys for outstanding achievement.
Topping the list were a pair of Silver Tellys in the TV Show-Documentary and TV Show-Sports categories for Wurzburg to Worldwide: How Dirk Became DIRK!, FOX Sports Southwest's
critically-acclaimed documentary chronicling the life and career of Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki.
FOX Sports Southwest also picked up a Bronze Telly in the TV Show-Sports category for The Texas Rangers Top 40 Countdown special that reviewed the top moments in Rangers history
in celebration of the team's 40th season.
Individual awards were won by Editor Greg Flick and Videographer Chris Fitzpatrick.
Flick picked up two Bronze Tellys in the TV Show-Editing category for Wurzburg to Worldwide: How Dirk Became DIRK! and The Texas Rangers Top 40 Countdown.
Fitzpatrick was honored with a Bronze Telly in the TV Show-Videography/Cinematography category for Wurzburg to Worldwide: How Dirk Became DIRK!

The Telly Awards is the premier competition honoring outstanding television programs and commercials as well as the finest video and film productions. Since 1979, the Telly Awards annually showcase the best work from the most respected television stations, production companies, cable operators, corporate video departments and advertising agencies in the
world. The Telly is one of the most sought-after awards in the industry, receiving more than 12,000 entries annually from across the U.S. and many foreign countries.
