FOX Sports Ohio announces special programs in honor of Pete Rose's Reds HoF induction

CINCINNATI, OH -- The Cincinnati Reds will celebrate the induction of baseball's most prolific hitter, Pete Rose, into the 2016 Reds Hall of Fame June 24-26. Leading up to this special weekend, FOX Sports Ohio will air special programming in honor of the Hit King's legendary career. Over the weekend, the network will also air live the pregame ceremonies that will enshrine 'Charlie Hustle' in the Reds Hall of Fame, retire his No. 14 jersey, and celebrate of the 40th anniversary of the 1976 World Series Champion Reds.

"We are honored to be able to highlight such a defining moment in the history of the Reds franchise."

Starting Monday, June 20, the network will air a NEW "Spotlight: Pete Rose", featuring a two-part Jim Day interview with Rose. FOX Sports Ohio will also replay the game from September 11, 1985 when Rose rapped a first-inning single off Padre Eric Show to conquer one of baseball's greatest records and pass Ty Cobb as baseball's all-time Hit King with hit 4192, a record 24 years in the making.

Over the weekend, FOX Sports Ohio will cover the pregame on-field ceremonies live as well as feature various guests in the booth during the games to talk about the celebration.

- Special hour-long Reds Live pregame show will include the pregame ceremony celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1976 World Series Champion Reds.

- Saturday, June 25 at 3:30pm

- Reds Live pregame show to cover the Hall of Fame Induction ceremony.

*Saturday's Reds game is exclusively on FOX Sports 1, so FOX Sports Ohio will not televise the game. FOX Sports Ohio will air FOX Sports 1's production of the game that night at 10:00pm.

- Sunday, June 26 at 12:30pm

- Special hour-long Reds Live will feature the pregame Pete Rose Number 14 Retirement Ceremony.
