Former F1 Driver Bruno Senna To Test In NASCAR?

BY foxsports • July 20, 2013

Former Formula One driver and current sports car ace Bruno Senna is considering several options for 2014, which include testing in NASCAR according to GrandPrix.com.

Bruno, nephew of Grand Prix legend Ayrton Senna, spent three years competing in Formula One with HRT, Renault and Williams before moving on to sports car racing in 2013 with Aston Martin.

"Continuing with Aston Martin is one of the best options I have," Senna told the O Estado de S.Paulo newspaper. "But I also want to see if I can test in NASCAR. It was already supposed to happen at the beginning of the year."

If Senna made the switch to NASCAR, he would join the likes of Juan Pablo Montoya, Kimi Raikkonen, Nelson Piquet Jr. and Jacques Villeneuve as drivers who have traded in their open cockpit single-seater for a stock car.
