Once-promising college prospect Dylan Favre was arrested in Mississippi on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Favre, a four-star recruit who signed with Mississippi State out of high school after a record-setting career that earned him Parade All-American and Mr. Football in Mississippi in 2009, was arrested with "marijuana and paraphernalia-type items" in Polparville, Miss., early Thursday. He is the nephew of former NFL great Brett Favre.
Authorities in Pearl River County wouldn't confirm the amount of marijuana seized.
Favre transferred from Mississippi State to Pearl River Community College in December.
