Dwyer and Beisel win at Minneapolis Grand Prix

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Olympic medalists Conor Dwyer and Elizabeth Beisel each won an event and finished runner-up in another Thursday on opening night of the Arena Grand Prix in Minneapolis.
Dwyer won the 200-yard freestyle and was edged by fellow Olympian Tyler Clary in the 400 individual medley. Beisel won the women's 400 IM and was second in the 200 freestyle.
The 200 free featured five Olympians, with Dwyer winning easily in 1 minute, 33.69 seconds. Nathan Adrian was second in 1:34.87, followed by Clary in 1:34.97.
In the women's 200 free, Olympian Shannon Vreeland won in 1:43.57. Beisel was second in 1:43.91. Former Olympian Katie Hoff, coming off illness, was third in 1:44.46.
