That didn't take long.
Dwight Howard wasted no time in celebrating his decision to join the Rockets.
A few hours after he officially announced he was headed to Houston, Howard posted a photo on Instagram of himself and new teammate James Harden.
Much to the excitement of Rockets fans (and dismay of Lakers fans), Howard sent out a message with the photo, simply captioned 'Houston we have liftoff.'
No word yet as to the 'how' and 'where' the celebration took place.
