Dez Bryant set for finger surgery Tuesday
Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant will undergo surgery Tuesday on his broken left index finger, the receiver announced on Twitter Monday.
"Having surgery on my finger tomorrow I can't wait until its over," Bryant posted on his account, @DezBryant.
Bryant fractured the finger on Dec. 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but played through the injury for the rest of the season to help with the Cowboys' playoff chances.
Bryant had a breakout season for the Cowboys, finishing his third year with 92 receptions for 1,382 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Even more impressive, Bryant played the final three weeks of the season with the broken finger, including a nine-catch, 224-yard performance against New Orleans in Week 16.
Of course, the biggest setback from finger surgery ... the lack of video game time you'll have in the offseason.
"Well I'm about to play black ops 2 for the last time in a long time lol," Bryant tweeted.
