Davis scores from first by avoiding tag at plate with peculiar 'slide'
At 35 years old, Rajai Davis still has some wheels on him.
On a routine single to right field by Jason Kipnis, the Indians took the lead on the Reds when Jose Ramirez scored from third.
But it was an all-out hustle play by a savvy veteran that garnered an exciting reaction from the Tribe bench and the fans at Progressive Field.
Standing at first base, Davis took off on the crack of Kipnis' bat and kicked it into gear on the basepaths to plate another run for Cleveland.

It was a unique way to score too, as the Indians left fielder didn't slide into home-- he drug his right foot and avoided Ramon Cabrera's tag at the plate.

The call by Paul Emmel at the dish was originally ruled an out, but a challenge by Terry Francona changed the outcome and gave the Tribe a two-run advantage.
