David Price's pup Astro makes first trip to Tigers' spring training
LAKELAND, Fla. -- Many of the Tigers have dogs but none is as well-known as Astro, David Price's pup.
Astro is a French bulldog and he was at Joker Marchant Stadium Friday morning for a promotional shoot for a poster to be given away later this season.
To get Astro's best happy dog look, Price took a quick jog with him before getting their picture taken.
Price tweeted out a couple of photos before coming to the park.
In the first, Astro was in the car and Price said, "Astros first day of spring training is today!!! He is beyond pumped up right now..please don't (poop emoticon) in Miggys locker."

Then after the shoot, Price tweeted out a photo of him holding Astro.
"Astro did his first photoshoot with the #tigers today!! He handled it like a pro as always!! No accidents either..."

But apparently that's not always been the case.
Price then tweeted, "Hey @ChrisGimenez5 remember that time I brought Astro to the field and he pee'd in your travel bag?! Thought it would be good luck..nah 0-2."
