David Ousted shows why he earned an All-Star nod last year

Vancouver Whitecaps goalkeeper David Ousted submitted his best season in MLS last year. The Danish goalkeeper earned a place on the MLS All-Star team and played a key role in the Whitecaps' miserly defense. His penchant for pulling off important saves made him indispensible as Vancouver made its push toward the top of the Western Conference.

Ousted revealed those qualities in the Whitecaps' 2-1 victory over Seattle Sounders on Wednesday. Most of them rose to the fore when he produced a stunning, post-to-post save to deny Obafemi Martins' close-range header.
