HENGELO, Netherlands (AP) World champion Dafne Schippers won the 200 meters at the FBK Games in a world-leading 22.02 seconds on Sunday despite running in cold and wet conditions.

Schippers shaved .23 seconds off her previous season's best at her home meeting in eastern Netherlands, beating Jodie Williams of Britain, who finished with 23.06. Tiffany Townsend of the United States was third in 23.12.

It was the second convincing victory for the Dutchwoman in three days after she won the 100 at Manchester's Great City Games in 10.94 with a big margin of .25 over American rival Tianna Bartolleta.

Under steady rainfall in increasingly chilly conditions, Schippers dominated from the start, and if it had not been for the strong headwind would have been the first under 22 this year.
