D-backs' Owings named NL rookie of the month

Diamondbacks shortstop Chris Owings has been voted the National League Rookie of the Month for April. Owings paced N.L. rookies with a .313 batting average during March/April. His five doubles and 26 hits were also tops among NL rookies.
