The Arizona Diamondbacks couldn't put together a well-rounded performance in three games against the Phillies.

The D-backs couldn't string together enough solid at-bats in Sunday's series finale, leaving Philadelphia with a 6-0 loss as the Phillies swept the series and stretched their winning streak to five.

The D-backs lost a brief two-run lead in the seventh inning of Friday's series opener, which they lost 4-3. On Saturday with pitcher Archie Bradley returning from the disaled list, it was Arizona falling into too big a whole in the first two innings for a strong offensive performance to make up the deficit.

Arizona (15-21) is now on a four-game losing streak and heads to Florida for a four-game series against a Miami Marlins team that on Sunday fired manager Mike Redmond.

The D-backs' visit could be much-needed against a team that's lost six of seven games.

On Sunday, the top four batters for the D-backs' lineup contributed two hits, and though Mark Trumbo and Paul Goldschmidt were walked once each, Arizona couldn't piece together timely hits -- it recorded eight hits but was 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position.

A few of those missed opportunities:

--  Second inning: Yasmany Tomas and Aaron Hill led off with consecutive singles but Arizona couldn't get Tomas to third.

-- Third inning: Trailing 1-0, the D-backs were a half-step from tying the game. Ender Inciarte singled off Phillies starter Sean O'Sullivan, and a walk of Goldschmidt and a wild pitch put the runners on second and third. With two outs, the umpires initially ruled A.J. Pollock reached first by a hair on a two-out RBI single to tie the game. But upon replay review, the ball beat him to the bag, stranding another two runners.

-- Sixth inning: Pollock bunted to reach and advanced to third on a Tomas single with two outs. But Aaron Hill flied out to end the D-backs' threat.

Saturday, it was all about Tomas hitting his first home run of the season. A day later he impressed in the fired at third base. He charged an Odubel Herrera sacrifice bunt and barehanded it to throw out the outfielder by a split second.

* Having given up nine runs in his worst outing of his career the last time out, Arizona starter Josh Collmenter recovered to some degree on Sunday. Collmenter went six innings, allowing four runs and six hits while throwing 78 pitches (45 strikes). Starting Phillies pitcher Sean O'Sullivan went the same length while giving up five hits and no runs.

Arizona's bullpen didn't have the cleanest game either. Randall Delgado went 1 2/3 innings, allowing four hits and two runs, including the first career homer by Maikel Franco to lead off the eighth. It was Delgado's third home run allowed in his past 5 2/3 innings over the course of four appearances.

* Tomas put together a strong series, going 4-for-9 with the home run.

10 -- The D-backs left 10 runners on base in the loss.

Starting pitcher Patrick Corbin will throw five innings and 75 pitches Monday before heading to Double-A Mobile as he stretches out toward a return from Tommy John surgery that took place in March 2014, reported FOX Sports Arizona's Jody Jackson.

Likewise, reliever David Hernandez is working toward a return. He threw a scoreless inning on Saturday, throwing in the low- to mid-90s with High-A Visalia.
