The Texans' season is in a tailspin after losing their fifth-straight game to the Kansas City Chiefs and falling to a 2-5 record on the season.

Now, Houston will likely be going the rest of the way without one of their stars on defense.

Brian Cushing told NFL Media's Albert Breer after the game that he believes he tore his LCL and broke his leg after Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles put up a low block against the linebacker who was coming on a blitz.

This will be the second-straight year the Cushing's season ends early. The linebacker tore his ACL last year in a game against the New York Jets, but recovered in time to play in all seven of the Texans' regular season games so far this year.

While the Texans search for a way to move on without Cushing again this season, the linebacker vows to make strong comeback.
