Coyotes recall Summers from San Antonio

The Phoenix Coyotes have recalled defenseman Chris Summers from the San Antonio Rampage.

In 44 games with the Rampage, the 6-foot-2, 208-pound Summers has registered one goal, seven assists, 40 penalty minutes and a plus-six rating.

Summers, 22, was drafted by the Coyotes in the first round (29th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
