Cortland Finnegan breaks up with the Rams millennial style: via Twitter
Remember that time when Britney Spears divorced her husband via text message and everyone thought she was crazy (er, crazier). Maybe Brit was ahead of her time, because on Wednesday defensive back Cortland Finnegan broke it off with the St. Louis Rams through Twitter.

According to Deadspin and Ian Rapoport, Finnegan informed Jeff Fisher and select members of the Ramsâ top brass his intentions to test free agency rather than take a pay cut. He then tweeted the news almost immediately, meaning many members of the organization found out via social media.
