Coaxing the youngsters

Each offseason, we debate who won the winter by making a nine-figure free agent splash or acquiring a superstar via trade. But what about teams that could improve dramatically by coaxing more out of youngsters with superstar-level talent? Xander Bogaerts, Javier Baez and Gregory Polanco all entered 2014 as top-10 prospects, but their rookie years were disappointing for various reasons. If these potential franchise players can fix holes in their games this winter, they could propel their clubs into the playoffs in 2015.
