The Clippers announced Monday the signing of free-agent center Byron Mullins. The terms of the deal were not released, but the team can offer him no more than a veteran's minimum contract.

Mullens, 24, spent the past two seasons in Charlotte, where he started 41 of 53 games and averaged 10.6 points and 6.4 rebounds last year. Mullins has played two seasons apiece with Oklahoma City and then Charlotte. For his career, he's averaged 8.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists.

Mullins was the 24th pick in the 2009 NBA Draft and was acquired from Dallas by the Thunder on draft night that year.

Adding Mullens gives the Clippers three centers; DeAndre Jordan and Ryan Hollins are the other two.
