CARSON, Calif. (AP) -- Chivas USA and Mexican beer company Grupo Modelo have agreed to a multiyear deal that will see the logo of Corona Extra on the Major League Soccer team's jerseys.
An announcement by the team on Tuesday said the logo will have a visible presence at Chivas USA's home games and other events. The team is Mexican-owned.
Corona Extra is the leading beer in Mexico and the top import in the U.S. Grupo Modelo is known for its sports sponsorships.
Chivas USA says full details on the deal will be unveiled on Feb. 16.
