CARSON, Calif. - Chivas USA announced on Tuesday that the club has waived defender Carlos Borja.
A native of Anaheim, Borja played eight games (four starts) with the Red-and-White in 2010, scoring one goal, and previously played with the team during the 2006 season.
The defender has also played in the Chivas de Guadalajara system with Primera A club CD Tapatio.
Chivas USA continues its preseason training camp in preparation for the 2011 Home Opener on March 19 against Omar Bravo and Sporting Kansas City.
