Chicago pre-draft camp primer
Workouts have begun at the Chicago pre-draft camp, and you can count on at least two players from this combine becoming Cavaliers next season. And with four total draft picks, there will likely be more.
Not everyone is participating in the workouts, however. That includes Duke point guard and expected top pick Kyrie Irving. He will get medical tests but is skipping the on-court drills, his agent said.
Irving is represented by Jeffrey Wechsler, whose clients include former Cavs swingmen Darius Miles and Larry Hughes.
Most of the names you will hear called in the draft lottery in June are taking part in the workouts. Also, Ohio standouts such as Ohio State swingman David Lighty and Cleveland State guard Norris Cole will be there.
The complete list of participants is below. It may be updated, and if so, I’ll add notes right here, in my blog. Keep following FOX Sports Ohio for continuing coverage of pre-draft stuff, all day, every day.
