Cavs leave Delly at Oracle, takes Uber to hotel
Some things are easy to forget.
Clothes, shoes, and other equipment, but usually it's pretty easy to remember people.
Don't tell that to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
On Thursday night following a Game 1 loss to the Golden State Warriors, the Cavaliers team bus left point guard Matthew Dellavedova at the stadium.
Matthew Dellavedova told me he missed last call for the #Cavaliers bus last night & they left without him. Took an Uber back to the hotel.

Always resourceful, Delly hitched an Uber and made his own way back to the hotel.
In its defense, the team had a lot on its mind, Kyrie's injury, Shump's missed buzzer beater, and eventually losing in overtime. Next time, I think it's safe to say the Cavaliers will make sure their Australian is on the bus, especially since he is now the starting point guard.
