CLEVELAND -- In the event a delayed start and 27-point blown lead weren't enough, the Miami Heat's 98-95 win over host Cleveland on Wednesday was interrupted by a fan running onto the floor in the fourth quarter.

With 8:21 left in the game and the Heat in the process of overcoming a halftime deficit to extend their win streak to 24 games, a Cavs fan rushed onto the floor donning a shirt pleading for Heat star LeBron James to return to the team that drafted him.

The fan's shirt read, "We Miss You. Come Back 2014."

James, a three-time NBA MVP, spent the first seven seasons with the Cavs, leading them to their lone Finals appearance in 2007. He won a championship with the Heat last season.

The fan ran near James, and James walked over and patted the fan on the head. James can opt out of his current contract in 2014. Media and fans have speculated he may return to the Cavs.

Wednesday's game was delayed by 35 minutes following a scoreboard malfunction.
