Cardinals pitchers and catchers report -- and so does Jim Hayes

The day has finally arrived. The St. Louis Cardinals have officially started spring training with pitchers and catchers reporting for duty in Jupiter, Florida.

And boy did FOX Sports Midwest start off HOT with this fine tweet. 

Reminder: It's spring training for everybody -- television athletes included. But the Michael Wacha-Kolten Wong mixup did produce a few snarky tweets that we can all appreciate. Here are a couple that gave us a chuckle:  

The fun didn't stop there, as Jim "@TheCatOnFox" Hayes was able to catch up with Trevor Rosenthal after a conditioning workout. 

There were some serious discussions on the first official day in Jupiter, as Matt Carpenter and Wacha spoke with members of the media on their expectations heading into the 2015 season.
