Cam Atkinson collects a hat trick for the Blue Jackets

One game after Scott Hartnell recorded the first hat trick for the Blue Jackets since April 5, 2012, Cam Atkinson recorded another one. In a bit of irony, the hat trick back in April of 2012 was also Cam Atkinson.

Cam's first two goals came in the first period, and helped the Blue Jackets build a 4-2 lead.

Atkinson's third goal came with less than a minute left with an empty net to finish off the scoring 5-2. It was the first time in franchise history that the Blue Jackets had hat tricks in consecutive games.
