LOS ANGELES (AP)
-- Andrew Bynum has sprained his left ankle in the first quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the Golden State Warriors.

The team says X-rays were negative, but Bynum won't return to Sunday night's game at Staples Center. He has a moderate sprain and will be re-evaluated on Monday. The starting center had no points and three rebounds when he left the game.

Bynum ended March averaging 22.2 points and 10.9 rebounds in 17 games during the month.
