GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- No. 14 Florida fullback Trey Burton missed the Gators' 38-0 victory against Kentucky on Saturday because of back spasms.

Coach Will Muschamp said Burton awoke with the problem Friday and had shooting pain every time he stepped on his right foot.

The Gators (4-0) hardly missed Burton against Kentucky, and Florida has a week off before playing No. 2 LSU on Oct. 6.

Defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd and tight end Jordan Reed left the game with shoulder injuries for the Gators, but neither injury is considered serious.

Florida also played without defensive tackle Dominique Easley (knee), linebacker Jelani Jenkins (thumb) and cornerback Cody Riggs (foot). Easley and Jenkins are expected to play against LSU.
