Bucs re-sign TE Luke Stocker, three others

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers invited back four of their possible unrestricted free agents Monday by re-signing tight end Luke Stocker, linebacker Jason Williams and defensive ends Lawrence Sidbury and Larry English.

Stocker received a three-year deal. Meanwhile, Williams, Sidbury and English all were given one-year contracts.

Stocker, 26, has 35 catches for 298 yards and one touchdown in four seasons with the Bucs. A fourth-round pick by Tampa Bay in 2011, he has started 29 of 45 games in his NFL career. He had seven catches for 41 yards in 13 games last year.

Williams, 28, played in three games with the Bucs last season after appearing in 11 contests with the Carolina Panthers to start the year. A former third-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2009, he has played in 60 career games (four starts) with 34 tackles, two forced fumbles, two passes defensed and one fumble recovery. He also has 30 special teams tackles.

Sidbury, 29, had one tackle in one game with the Bucs last season, against the New Orleans Saints in Week 17, which was his first NFL regular-season action since appearing with the Atlanta Falcons in 2012. He spent the 2014 preseason with the Houston Texans.

English, 29, had 12 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble in 12 games with the Bucs last season. A former first-round pick by the San Diego Chargers in 2009, he has played in 64 career NFL games (10 starts). He has totaled 92 tackles, 12 sacks, two passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
