The Buccaneers announced Jimmy Raye, who has 34 years coaching experience in the NFL, would serve as senior offensive assistant coach.

Raye was hired by first-year head coach Greg Schiano, whose staff includes Butch Davis as senior defensive assistant.

"With over 30 years of NFL experience, Coach Raye has attained a wealth of knowledge that will be an invaluable resource to our coaches and players," said Schiano.

Raye is a seven-time offensive coordinator, most recently with the San Francisco 49ers in 2009-10. He previously served as Buccaneers offensive coordinator for two seasons in 1985 and 1986 but has never been a coordinator with the same team for more than two straight years.
