Giannis Antetokounmpo's rookie season was filled with accomplishments, and the Milwaukee Bucks forward garnered another honor Thursday when he was named to the NBA's All-Rookie second team.
Drafted 15th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft, Antetokounmpo is the first member of the Bucks to be named to one of the NBA's All-Rookie teams since Brandon Jennings in 2009-10 and the 12th player in franchise history to receive the honor.
Antetokounmpo played in 77 games for the Bucks in 2013-14, averaging 6.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. The Greek forward was chosen to participate in the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge at All-Star Weekend and took place in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge.
Philadelphia's Michael Carter-Williams was unanimously chosen to the All-Rookie First Team, while he's joined by Magic guard Victor Oladipo, Jazz guard Trey Burke, Nets center Mason Plumlee and Knicks guard Tim Hardaway Jr.
Along with Antetokounmpo, Celtics forward/center Kelly Olynyk, Timberwolves center Gorgui Deng, Bobcats forward Cody Zeller and Thunder center Steven Adams make up the All-Rookie second team.
Antetokounmpo received 116 points in the balloting, including 15 first-team votes.
