Buccaneers FB Jorvorskie Lane suspended two games
TAMPA, Fla. -- Fullback Jorvorskie Lane was suspended Wednesday without pay for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' next two games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Lane, signed as a free agent in April, will be eligible to return to the Bucs on Nov. 3. He has just two carries for 56 yards in six games this season. On Monday, the Bucs signed fullback Lonnie Pryor, a Florida State product, to the practice squad.
Lane has 69 yards rushing with two touchdowns in 22 NFL games after entering the league as a college free agent from Texas A&M in 2012. Before this season, his only other action was seen with the Miami Dolphins in 2012.
