Brewers' Broxton fractures wrist in collision with outfield wall

CHICAGO -- Milwaukee center fielder Keon Broxton has left the Brewers' game against the Chicago Cubs with a broken right wrist.
Broxton slammed into the wall in left-center while tracking down Tommy La Stella's drive in the third inning Friday at Wrigley Field. He went down immediately after the play and was helped off the field by a trainer who held Broxton's arm against his body as he walked off.
Broxton singled in the first and walked in the third and stole a base. He was replaced by Kirk Nieuwenhuis.
The 26-year-old Broxton was batting .238 in 74 games (206 at-bats) this season for the Brewers as of Thursday, hitting nine home runs and stealing 22 bases. He was in his fourth stint with the team this season and had batted .289 with eight home runs and 17 RBI in 44 games (142 at-bats) since his most recent recall from Triple-A Colorado Springs on July 25.
