MILWAUKEE – The second round of All-Star votes was released Tuesday, and Milwaukee Brewers star Ryan Braun continues to rank third among N.L. outfielders.
Braun, who has been voted a starter in each of the past four All-Star Games, has 1,553,356 votes and leads the Giants' Melky Cabrera by less than 200,000. A week ago, Braun led Cabrera by almost 400,000 votes for the final starting outfield spot.
Bruan, the reigning NL MVP, is the only Brewer who would start in the game if voting concluded today. Second baseman Rickie Weeks and catcher Jonathan Lucroy each rank fifth at their positions.
