The 2012 season will be a big one for Big 12 football for a lot of reasons.
Programs like Oklahoma State and Baylor achieved new heights as Big 12 members last season while Kansas State re-established itself as a contender.
Some programs, like Iowa State, are looking to build off big wins while perennial powers Oklahoma and Texas are looking to get back into the national title conversation.
And then there are the additions of TCU and West Virginia, established winners that will make an immediate impact.
Each team faces a number of questions heading into the season.
