Baylor kicker leveled after block in Cotton Bowl loss

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Baylor kicker Chris Callahan was going to be the hero if he knocked through a field goal, but instead he got knocked out.
With the Bears hanging on to a 41-35 lead late in the fourth quarter, Callahan's 43-yard attempt was blocked and opened the door for Michigan State to finish an importable comeback in the Cotton Bowl on Thursday.
The block was painful for the Bears, but it hurt a lot more for Callahan, who got leveled by Spartans receiver Tony Lippett during the return.
But Callahan was "alive" and well and still smiling despite Baylor's loss.
I am alive. It has been a great season. I am proud to be a Baylor Bear. #SicEm
