Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman debuts as new Thunder Live analyst

Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman makes her debut as the new analyst on FOX Sports Oklahoma's THUNDER LIVE pregame and postgame shows on Friday, Nov. 2 when the network televises its first of 70 Thunder games in 2012-13.
Lieberman will be paired with studio hosts Dana Larson and John Rhadigan to provide perspective and analysis before and after every Thunder telecast on FOX Sports Oklahoma. The season's first THUNDER LIVE show is Friday at 6:30 p.m. prior to the Thunder's game against Portland.
"I'm thrilled to be a part of the Thunder broadcast team," said Lieberman. "The Thunder's commitment to excellence, community and their humble confidence is an amazing trait."
Lieberman has a storied and distinguished career as a player, coach and broadcaster. She is widely regarded as a basketball pioneer having been the first woman to play in a men's professional league in 1986 as a member of the Springfield Fame of the United States Basketball League and the first female coach of a men's professional basketball team with the Texas Legends of the NBA D-League in 2010. She currently is the assistant general manager of the Legends.
The former WNBA player and head coach, two-time Olympian, three-time All American, two-time collegiate national champion and two-time National Player of the Year at Old Dominion University was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1996 and the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 1999.
Prior to her new role with the Thunder, Lieberman had served as a television analyst for FOX Sports Southwest, ESPN, ABC, NBC and NBA TV.
