The Wisconsin Badgers will make their first appearance in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 30 against the USC Trojans. The game will be played at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego and is scheduled for a 9:30 p.m. CT kickoff.

The game will be Wisconsin's 14th consecutive bowl game and fourth straight for USC, which won the Pac-12 South division title but lost 41-22 to Stanford in the Pac-12 championship game on Saturday. USC ranks No. 25 in the College Football Playoff system, while Wisconsin ranks No. 23 in the AP poll released Sunday.

Wisconsin has lost its last six games against USC, but this will be the teams' first meeting since 1966.

The Trojans beat Nebraska 45-42 in last year's Holiday Bowl.
