
Awesome GIF shows evolution of every NFL team's logo throughout league history

Excluding Clevelanders and NFL historians, most football fans are probably unaware that the Browns used an elf (called a "Brownie") derived from Scottish folklore as its primary logo/mascot during its early years in the 1940s. Quite a contrast with today's logo-less orange helmet design that's very subtly changed over the past few decades.
Thanks to a GIF constructed by Yahoo Sports' Eric Orvieto, you can check out the evolution of every NFL team's logo beginning with Chicago-based Cardinals in 1920.
