Cleveland Indians utilityman Mike Aviles helped escort a Jimmy Fund patient to the mound for a first pitch Wednesday at Fenway Park. Aviles also made a $4,000 donation in honor of each of his four children, to the Jimmy Fund Radio Telethon which supports the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Aviles' daughter, Adriana, has been recieving treatment for leukeimia. She, along with her sister Maiya, threw out the first pitch at the Indians game on August 13.

Indians owner Paul Dolan, general manager Chris Antonetti and several Indians players shaved their heads earlier this year in support of Aviles' family. They took a group photo earlier this season in which players and front office personnel wore orange "Team Adriana" T-shirts.
